Lacey Hendrix is the former Mayor of Chester, Arkansas, bringing an entrepreneurial spirit from her background in small business and working cross-culturally. Since 2018, she has been a host to guests from around the globe, (most recently at the Beard And Lady Inn, enriching her perspective on community and inclusivity. As mayor, she was instrumental in fostering community involvement and local governance. Recently, she was awarded an NLC grant for the Women's Economic Empowerment Initiative, a pioneering pilot program aimed at supporting women through mental health services, transportation solutions, and childcare assistance. Her leadership focuses on creativity, transparency, and empowerment, making her a vital voice for community-driven change and women's advocacy.  She also has a line of beauty products she creates and sells, including her best selling Chocolate Cardemom and Rose lip balm, also under the name of Beard And Lady.
