Jamie Sims Coakley has been crafting a variety of stories over the last twenty years using music, photography, film and the written word. 

Among her successes are four full length albums with her band WAXAPPLES and also a feature length music documentary, Cadillac Tramps, Life On The Edge which she shot, produced and directed.  She was lucky enough to be “Artist In Residence” at the historic Beard and Lady Inn, in Chester, Arkansas where she finished her debut historical fiction/time travel novel, FREEHAND 2173, which was published in October 2023.  

She is currently working on the serialization of book two in the FREEHAND 2173 series, which she plans to self publish along with audio book episodes, bi-monthly with an integrated virtual book club!  There subscribers will discuss the books themes and characters in real time as it’s being written.  Jamie is very excited to experiment with process of novel writing and pull back the curtain for fans of fiction by opening her creative process up to her readers.

Jamie is also developing and hosting women’s retreats which focus on the creative feminine energy and cultivating daily rituals to encourage and inspire us to live more creative lives.
